Established in 1985, Promed is a leading dental and GP medical supplies company, providing equipment, consumables and service and repair options to more than 4,000 medical and dental practices in Ireland. Promed is owned by PEI Surgical, a leading medical and surgical sales, marketing and distribution company.

Our customers
We work closely with Dentists, Doctors, Pharmacists, Hospital and Nursing Home staff, GPs and other professionals from the primary care sector, to continually review the products on the market to consistently bring you the best.

Our products
Promed has an extensive range of equipment available. On the dental division, new additions include Cefla Dental Chairs, Cattani and MGF dental air compressors and Dental Suction Units. We also added a range of digital imaging equipment from MyRay and introduced a range of dental implants and bone regenerative products. On the GP medical supplies and equipment front, we have a range of Sunflower couches and treatment chairs, a range of PC based diagnostic equipment from Customed, and ECG equipment including stress testing devices.

Promed has exclusive distribution arrangements with leading brands such as Riester diagnostics, Mocom autoclaves and sterilising equipment, Summit Dopplers, Lec Pharmacy fridges and the Customed range of PC based diagnostic equipment. We also stock all market leading dental and medical brands such as Seca, 3M ESPE, Tork, NSK and more.

Promed Advance: The Promed Advance package sets a new benchmark in terms of customer support and care. With Promed Advance you get the best end to end support to advance you, your practice and your patients.

Service Engineers: Our close ties with dental and medical professionals ensure that we can offer tailor made solutions to suit every medical and dental surgery. Our team of Service Engineers will deliver, install and train all your staff on the features and benefits of a wide range of our equipment. The team can provide calibration and service equipment options as well as Emergency breakdown cover.

Online webstore: our comprehensive web store holds more than 5000 product lines and has a host of new features, including displaying stock status on all items, email confirmation of orders and deliveries, seminar booking online, and next day delivery on all items ordered before 4pm. The site also allows you to easily edit your own account details such as contact names and numbers, delivery and invoice addresses.

Seminars and Training: We have a wide and varied range of upcoming seminars, covering all different topics from EG 12 lead training to Cryotherapy workshops. We also have a range of online learning courses available through our website, allowing you to upskill at your own convenience.

Stock Management Service: This service, available free of charge to all our customers ensures you need never run out of stock again.  This new service makes it easy for the Buyer / Practice Manager to reorder items. You can report on stock value, usage and expiry dates, freeing up capital by having lower stock levels. This service also provides the facility to manage non-Promed stock and is fully integrated with barcode scanning.
