Sales Advisor (Maternity Leave Cover)
Promed is one of Ireland's leading distributor to medical and dental professionals supplying equipment and consumables. We also provide educational services as well as installation, maintenance and repair.
We are inviting applications for a contract position to cover maternity leave within our sales team (full-time Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30 hrs)
You will be reporting to the Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities:
1. Processing sales orders.
2. Handling inbound and outbound customer calls providing product assistance.
3. Through detailed product knowledge, advising customers on product requirements and availing of all upselling opportunities.
4. Accurately collating and maintaining customer database.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in selling over the phone is essential.
2. Proven record of strong customer focus.
3. Dental / medical background would be an advantage.
4. Excellent communication skills in writing and particularly via the telephone.
5. Good negotiation skills.
6. Ability to work on own initiative whilst being part of a team.
7. Good computer skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, knowledge in SAP would be an advantage.
