The PulmoLife COPD Screening monitor is an ideal tool to use as a quick check of lung function to highlight signs of disease as early as possible. A test on the PulmoLife COPD screen monitor measures FEV1, FEV1% of predicted and "Lung Age" and is a practical approach to screening smokers.
As the test only takes a couple of minutes it can be done in the course of a regular consultation and patients who need a full spirometry screening can be identified and then an appointment scheduled at the patient's and surgery's convenience for a full test.
As part of the Promed Advance Spirometry package, the PulmoLife COPD screener is provided free of charge with the CareFusion MicroLab, MicroLoop and SpiroUSB spirometers. This will enable your practice to readily identify which patients are at risk and facilitate early intervention and treatment.
