Intermittent Cardiac Arrhythmias and ECG Beam Event Monitors
Intermittent cardiac arrhythmias (irregular heartbeat) can be a major challenge for a GP to diagnose. Patients can be asymptomatic in the surgery and have normal ECG readings. You may need 24 hours or more to capture symptomatic episodes. Obviously this is not possible within the surgery setting.
