Product info: over-the-needle, intravascular (IV) catheters. These devices have a radiopaque BD® Vialon™ catheter, needle attached to a wire stylet, wings for assisting with insertion and for catheter securement, integrated extension tubing, clamp,
single port or dual port, pre-attached BD® PRN Adapter, vent plug (dual port only), and needle shield. The needle and catheter are protected by a needle cover.
Features: The closed system is designed to keep blood contained within the device throughout the insertion process. The needle is passively protected when it is removed, reducing the risk of accidental needlestick injury.
