Continuous performance from medical equipment is critical for any busy clinical practice, pharmacy or organisation. Promed understand this and have an experienced and highly skilled service team comprising of 6 engineers (4 on-road and 2 in-house) as well as a dedicated service coordinator.

Our service team have ISO 9001:2015 accreditation and work to both

Standard Surgery


Our field service engineers provide responsive, on-call troubleshooting and repair of equipment, as well as planned, preventative and strategic maintenance. Our full-service offering is executed to the highest standard and followed up with comprehensive reporting. When required, we also provide back-to-base repairs in line with Manufacturer procedures by our trained Engineers.

At an enterprise level, we partner with organisations to provide high-quality servicing options, as well as offering a suite of reports for simplified management of your devices. Fridge Servicing

HSE guidelines call for the annual servicing of fridges1. Our engineers will carry out on-site inspection, validation and calibration if required. These tests include checking the refrigeration system, visual checks (both interior and exterior), temperature checks and EST.

Balance Scales


Balance calibration servicing is recommended to take place annually (at a minimum) by the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland 2. This improves efficiency and reliability, prevent faults, minimizes downtime and strengthens regulatory compliance. Our qualified Technicians will ensure compliance to national standards, using test weights certified to ISO 17025 standards.
